I would never want the US to become Communist, but I look at Communist countries, besides North Korea, and I admire the way they run and they are lead.

I read an article in a TIME magazine featuring three important people........ Einstein, Freud, and Karl Marx (the founder of Communism.) Do some reseach on Karl Marx, his ideas are great.

I too like some of the ideas of Communism (in theory). But unfortunately, many cruel dictators throughout history have ruined the idea of communism and given it a bad name. So many people in the US will dislike you for even saying that you like the concept. I remember my great grandmother totally tripping out on "The Commies." lol

Good luck and keep an open mind!

Communism is the most ideal form of government when you reflect on it. It offers a way to keep all the citizens fed and housed and all the work in the country done. Only problem is that it takes human nature out of the equation by assuming that humans will work for nothing. So, that might be it. Plus, communist leaders tend to be very charismatic and very powerful men who only want to find a better alternative for their country.

You do it because you are open to different idea's. The idea of TRUE communism is actually very good. The problem is that there is no such thing because power corrupts. The concept is that all citizens live and contribute equally. This has never happened in reality. Ordinary citizens live in cramped housing and live on the leanest of diets and work hard, while the governing officials live in luxury, have the finest delicacies, and "take care" of their "own". Just as in our own government. power corrupts, the exception is that ordinary citizen's have the ability to move up the financial ladder, then become corrupted.

Take a good look at China. That country seems to be the blueprint for the upcoming New World Order police state. The days of freedom are numbered.

That's a lot easier to do when you haven't spend a lot of time in one.

The first three weeks you're in one, you're like, "wow, they have a lot of good ideas". And then you realize how much it sucks and how lucky you are to be from a social capitalist country like the U.S., Japan, Canada, Australia, or most of Europe.

After about three months, you're a diehard believer in the Korean War.
