i formatted a harddisk and forgot to back-up all the important documents? i need to recover it badly, pls anyone can help me?

The drive's been formatted three times, there's not much there to recover and it would be expensive to do so. You'd need to send it to a recovery lab and you'd be talking about at least $500 to start.

Yes you can. It will be expensive but it can be done. You need to send your drive to specialized lab and they will be able to recover the data - but it will be expensive over $1000 (depending on how big the drive is and how much data you need back).

You sure can. If you want a free software then try out
PC Inspector File Recovery

However, I will not guarantee you about its capabilities.
The best software which I have tried out is
GetDataBack for FAT (for FAT file system)
GetDataBack for NTFS (for NTFS file system) from
http://www.runtime.org/gdb.htm.
But these are not free softwares, however, they are quite reliable.

if youre lucky and can find the software to do it then its possible, maybe

and i dont think youll find any recovery software thats free that will do this action
