5 weeks ago mc, level yesterday was 30 and got my period on Sunday. i am so confused how i can be still showing i am pregnant at 5 1/2 weeks after d& c and have gotten my period. has this happened to any of you?? My doc says i have to wait till i get my period again.

Your hormone level is still high after being pregnant. Your doctor is right your body is still adjusting to not being pregnant anymore. I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage, I hope your next pregnancy is successful. Good luck.

well i wouldnt worry it took my levels to get back to normal about a month. as long as they are going down there is nothing to worry about, they soon will go back to normal.after you period they usually go back to normal because then the body has the chance to get rid of any tissues that might have been left over
