Not if it keeps going in the direction it is going now. Because Karma rules. What goes around comes around. It's the law of nature. Krishna says in the Bhagavad-Gita "as long as their is animal slaughter, there will be war and famine." This country has slaughtered so many animals that the Karma has to come around some how or another. This country is in such an emotional, spiritual, and most every way mess that it is only a matter of time ,it will fall. In less there is a mass spiritual awakening then things can change for the better.

Sure it can. It isn't that old of an empire.

The U.S. is a pretty educated and intelligent nation, and its people are generally very decent. I'm not talking about perfection and 100% wonderful. I'm talking about the overall general character and culture.

Intelligent, educated, people learn from history and continue to seek better understanding and better approaches.

The U.S. is not perfect. It has its share of mistakes in its history and troubles in its present. It has its share of weak people too. Still, I believe that, on the whole, it is a strong, enlightened, and decent nation with strong, enlightened, decent people in numbers large enough to overcome the nation's weaknesses and remain strong in spite of that minority of citizens of weaker character.

How will it survive? The same way it was born, the same way it has become what it has, and the same way it has grown in spirit until now.

When someone or something is strong and intelligent and moral at the core (and that describes many American people who make up this nation) that combination of attributes tends to make bringing that someone or something down very difficult.

How many times - when a country has upheaval or falls - have we seen that same old picture of the giant statue of some leader being yanked down off some high place by its neck. Our statue stands in New York Harbor; and maybe because our statue is not the likeness of some overbearing dictator and instead is meant to represent the concept of liberty we tend to call our statue "she" rather than "it" when we speak of her.

She raises her torch to the sky, brings chills to those who see her still presence, and bears a message that tell the world that America is good. It may not be perfect, but America is good; and it will survive because it is good.

Maybe the presence of the lady who stands in New York Harbor wouldn't seem to guarantee much when considering whether America will keep its place in the world another fifty years, but she and what she represents has weathered a whole lot of storms and somehow she and liberty, itself, have survived. There is a reason for that, and that reason is the reason America will continue to thrive well beyond the next fifity years.

America is still pretty young in terms of nations so I think it should be around for another 50 years at least.

I think the biggest dangers of America failing come from the inside. If things like voter fraud and the lack of people voting (and not being informed) keep going on then the chances of America falling becomes very likely.

Oh yes, they certainly can, but if those in charge have their way, it will be a very changed America. I suggest you do some research into the Illuminati. Happy sleuthing!
