I can and do understand why your friends are not on myspace. It may be interesting to you but to some people it is just another site that requires you to divulge personal information online in order to join. In this day and age that is not the smart thing to do......but continue on if you like it. A friend of mine asked me to sign up on it but I may not.

My kid uses it to have mass conversations w/his friends from school . Would any of them join? (Note: I ONLY Let him go on after he edited out his real name, town, etc. and doesn't allow public viewing; only his friends can see it ). You COULD join one of the groups there, which discusses something you like...just keep the personal info minimal.

The only public profile he is part of is his band White Boy Can't Jump. [www.myspace.com/whiteboycannotjump].

You could always join a group that has something you like as the topic, like a band that you like, or something. Yes.
