I have a source that is written by:

Linda Keene, Duff Wilson, Ferdinand M. De Leon, Vanessa Ho, Patrick Macdonald, Mery Murakami, and Peyton Whitley.

How would I cite it in my text?
And how should I list the authors in the works cited page?

Depends what referencing system you are using. Harvard is one. You can find the rules for this system here: http://library.curtin.edu.au/referencing/harvard.html

When you put the source in your reference list/bibliography you need to list all authors, just as you did above, with the last name first, e.g. Keene, Linda or Keene, L, followed by all other names.

When you are citing the reference in your text, the first time you need to list all names. In subsequent references you only need to write 'Keene et al' and the year of the source.

Hope this helps

In your text you would have it like this (Keene et al. and then the year) BUT you must make sure your reference page or works cited page has all of the authors listed on it.

I have also had professors in the past who wanted to see all of the names the first time you cite it in the text and then the following ones can be (first person et al.)

you can look up MLA or APA style if you are still unsure

In the works cited, you'd have
Keene, Linda et al.
So in the text, you'd put Keene.
