Ok. I moved to this town about 5 months ago to go to school. i'm about an hour and half away from home. Recently, I've decided to move back home at the end of january b/c I'm simply not happy here. That's when my lease ends too. I've been at my current job for about 3 months. I feel bad about having to leave my job after only about 4 months, but I have to make myself happy. I know when I move back home, I will be so much happier. I'm so excited about moving back home that it makes me depressed when I have to go to work & That i'm still stuck up here. Any tips of how to make me feel not so depressed and crappy? and how to make the time go by easier and not so long? Thanks for any help.

Good for you for making the decision to move back where you will be happier.

When I need to help myself get through tough times, it always has helped to set small 'milestones' or 'events' in between to look forward to. Like 'in a week, I'll be going to such-and-such concert', or 'only two days to the weekend when I will take a drive or do something else that makes me happy' - you could even make mini-goals to get through each day. Now that the holidays are coming, you have even more to look forward to if you allow yourself to.

Look forward to your impending move, and try to find the things to enjoy in your current situation - it's called 'short-timers' - enjoy!
