It's an old song that used to be on the radio back in the early 1990's. It begins with instrumental for quite a while before there is any singing. And the lyrics are written from the perspective of a soldier that has returned home from war. The chorus is "hold my breath as I wish for death, god wake me" or something like that. I always loved the guitar work in that song and want to learn it. Just can't remember the freakin name of the song.

One. It's based on the book "Johnny Got his Gun." Check it out sometime. It'll stay with you forever (the book). The soldier has his face blown off. His arms and legs blown off. His mind is fine. He's trapped in his own body. Very good case for not going to war.
