How do I do it? I would want to be a leader with an iron fist, though not exactly as threatening as dictators. I want to intimidate people though if I was a leader. I would just want to be a great leader.

It will never happen. Our whole system was specifically set up to keep people like you from becoming President.

Here is how you become president. Get a bunch of people to think you are great. You do that by getting lots of money, making people feel really scared about something, and make them feel good about other things, like themselves. You make them feel important.
Make sure the army is behind you and then sieze power. Otherwise, you can't rule with an iron fist. Then destroy the press, the Internet, and all means of free speech. Jail anyone who disents. Take control of all television. Make sure there is daily coverage of all the good things you do. Do something good every day. Well, you don't have to do anything good. Just make it appear so. Be sure there is a really horrible war going on, so that people have to believe that their lot in life is really a sacrifise for the greater good of the nation. Make sure that the sissies in the media don't get ahold of the war and make it look bad the way the media is making the Iraq war look right now.
After the coup, take all leaders that don't agree with you and "disappear" them. Then make sure there is only one party. Disapear the members of the other party. You'll have to disappear a few million others, too, not because they did anything wrong, but just because it keeps the others in line.
Now, if you don't do this, but still try to intimidate people, you may end up being disliked. But if you kill millions, people will love you. Be careful not to destroy the country, though.

Gather the other 8 year old boys in the neighborhood, have your puppy or your mommy nominate you for club president, and before everyone votes, threaten them or give them a popsicle. Then have the vote. You will probably lose so your mommy isn't too far away when you start crying.
