snow isn't really white its just the amount of light that is bounced back so when it melt it changes states of matter and becomes a liquid which bounces back light differently

The snow is not really white it reflects light off the sun but really it is clear!!

It's justa reflection from the sun. The snow isn't actually white, it's clear.

ITS LIKE AN ICE CUBE,,THE MIDDLE IT WHITE DUE TO OXYGEN FROZEN INSIDE, PUT WHEN IT MELTS THERE IS NOT WHITE LEFT OVER ITS THE SAME IDEA

as you know water is transparent so is snow when it gets together in masses it looks white.

omg it's water so it melts!!!! duh!! the snow is water it just turns into ice because it's so cold. when the sun comes, the ice (snow) melts. make sense now?
