Franklin Delano Roosevelt is on the front of the dime.

The previous dime -- sometimes called the Mercury Dime -- had a woman's face that was supposed to represent Liberty. The model for that dime was the wife of the poet Wallace Stephens. Stephens was a known FDR hater. One can only imagine how he felt when FDR replaced his wife on the dime.

If it's a US dime, it's Franklin Delano Roosevelt (President during Great Depression and World War II).

If it's a Canadian dime, it's Queen Elizabeth (The Queen is on the front of all the Canadian coins).
