Notice the x values increase by 1 each time
and the y values double each time

By the add-multiply property, you know it is an exponential function

In order to find the equation, use the basic exponential formula y=a*b>(exponent)x

y=ab>x
1=ab>0
1=a

therefore y=b>x
2=b>1
2=b

so y= 2>x

in the graph.....
the domain(x values) is x: -2<=x<=2
the range(y values) is y: .25<=y<=4

for the whole equation....
domain is x: x is real
range is y: y>0

It's the exponential function y = 2^x, with the fourth point missing an opening parenthesis mark.

(And note that it's 2^(+x), NOT 2^ (-x), as wrongly stated in the preceding answer.)

Given this information, do the rest of this homework question yourself. That's the only way to learn.

exponential. Always increasing. And increasing at an increasing rate as you tend towards higher values of x.... in actuality those are numbers from 2^-x

x = {- inf., inf }
y = { 0 , inf }

F(x) goes on the y axis so it's as if you were graphing y = 5x. So plot the point (1,5).
