Noone knows the purpose of life. You know as much as anyone else could possibly know. We may each have our own theories, but theres no gaurantee that one is more right than any other.

I don't know what the point is. Some people say its "to live, have fun, achieve, and be happy"...but really thats what our society thinks the point is, its what we were taught by "them", we don't know if thats the point...how could "they" know?

Life is a big mystery, I don't know the point and we have created our own purposes and sometimes forget that no one knows what we're doing and its absolutely crazy how we get caught up in the little minute details of life like clothes and even jobs that we don't stop and think what we're doing and why we're doing it. We're living the life that others found to be purposeful and fail to create our own purpose. Just because some think our purpose is to be "successful" by going to school, getting a good paying job, raising a family, etc. thats what we all tend to do....

Oh well... perhaps someday we'll figure it out. I hope when we die we get a presentation of what this is all about b/c it would suck to die not knowing and nver finding out.

The point of life is different to everyone. You must search within you and find your "truth" in life. What would YOU like to do? Why would YOU do it? How would YOU do it? You must ask these questions and search for your answer which is your "truth". I think the only thing everyone in the world has in common is their mutual determination to make their own life the best it can be.

I think all the above can be summarized in Gandhi's famous quote "Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever."

If you are in need of further guidance, read the following below

"You must be the change you want to see in the world."
- Mahatma Gandhi

"To believe in something, and not live it, is dishonest."
- Mahatma Gandhi

"Why change the world when we can change ourselves?"
- Mahatma Gandhi

P.S (You should really expand your knowledge, learn about "God" and see what He can offer you. If you find the truth you are looking for deep in your heart, you will be the happiest you've ever been.)

Our life has been destined long before we were born.We
would all like to know what part we play in this extricate
pattern. Don't you think its more than coincidence that I
am sitting at my desk and answering to your question ?
I was actually about to change and take my dog for a
walk when I switched on the lap top and found your question to which I asked myself once in a while. The point of life is that we must be thankful for what we have,
some of us have children, friends and we probably mean
a lot to them and on reflection the happy times we have
had together, this is what life is all about. My life would
be a lot happier if my answer is helpful to you in any way.

The point and the secret of life is that there is no secret at all. The point of life is not for anybody to really understand. Best of luck to you in your journey.

Even though you dont want to hear it, we are hear to worship God and to tell about the great things he has done. I know how you feel, I felt the same way and I'm excepting it slowly, its hard but you just tell yourself that it is true and slowly it comes to be true to you. I think you and Jesus need to have a little talk, I mean.... I dont want to go to hell... do you?

I don't think there is an objective "point" to life. Just make what you can out if it. I'd recommend making it something good ;)

Take care of yourself and good luck.
