I'll bet you anything that you're trying to describe a right angle triangular prism, with sides 6, 8, and 10, and it's 20 cm tall. The volume is the area of the triangle (which is 1/2 * 6 * 8 because it's a right angle triangle) times 20 in height, or 1/2 * 6 * 8 * 20, or 480 cubic cm. Otherwise, what you're telling us doesn't have enough information to compute the volume.

The Volume for a triangular prism is actually 0.5 * L * W * H

so if H= 8cm L= 20 cm and W= 6 cm

then the answer is 0.5 * 8 * 20 * 6

= 480 cm^3

Volume for all prisms is lwh.

so lw= base= (6cm)(20cm)times H which is 8 cm

960 cm^3
