Playing tennis is smart. It sounds to me that your Basketball coach broke a verbal contract. I think it is time to have Mom or Dad reach out to the Jerk. You should still be allowed to go to tennis. Exercise and learning a life time skill like tennis are just as important if not more then an A in Geometry.

The mistake was to give up tennis. It would be best to try and do both. It is difficult to find two sports that compliment each other like basketball and tennis when it comes down to getting the quick moves needed in both. So make an honest commitment to the coach, if you can, to raise the grades if he lets you on the team, and also save some time for tennis.

I would suggest that you only play once a week, only on fridays so it wont really interfear with year school work.

If once a week is not enough for you, then only play for an hour, school comes first. Theres always other times to improve your game. On the weekends, vacations...and so on.

not of course the ultimate decision is up to your parents... but i say why not or at least until your grades are up... now i play tennis and i absolutely love it... its more than just a game or just having fun.. you really do learn things...physics is involved, geometry, strategy making, ect... not only that but it also relieves stress especially when you kick butt

hope you continue playing
