I'm expecting my fourth baby and we are hesitant to find out the sex of the baby. We didn't find out with our other three but, they are all girls and if it were a boy this time we would need to do some serious re-decorating. But, we really enjoy the suprise at the birth. I feel like I'm kinda cheating by finding out early!! lol

What would you do??

Im 36wks pregnant with my first baby and found out the sex at 18wks gestation. I had everybody upset with me because i had asked. I was just so excited i couldnt wait to find out. For me, finding out the sex of the baby made no difference as to how i would feel about him when he is born. I just know im going to love him regardless.

Im also wanting more kids in the future and i'll probably do the same thing again next time. But it doesnt bother me at all if i have 2-3 boys and no girls. My main concern is the health of my baby and the love that i feel for each and every single one.

Its nice to have a surprise but people do find out for different reasons. I dont begrudge anyone who wants to keep it as a surprise or whether they want to find out. Its their decision in the long run and you do what you feel comfortable with.

You're in a tough spot. I'm also expecting number 4. With our 1st I found out I was having a boy. Then came our 2nd and I didn't want to find out but changed my mind, it was a girl. So, with the 3rd I didn't care what it was because I had one of each. I liked the surprise, it was a girl. Now with this one, I really want to know. I don't think I could hold off just because we would like to be situated before instead of not knowing. (We gave all our baby stuff away then changed our minds and decided to have one more) So now, I need to know what to purchase. However not knowing is truly exciting. Think about it long and hard before you decide. If I were you, I'd wait. Wouldn't it be more exciting than being possibly disappointed at the ultrasound? Whatever you decide, I wish you the best of luck!

I think you should find out this time. YOu have waitied all the other times and that was exciting. SO let this time be different and exciting by finding out. No matter what your not going to be disappointed by already knowing the sex on the day of delivery (i found out and i still sobbed lol) If you feel as though you are curious to try something new, do it. Dont feel like you are cheating, its a new experience and now you can make this pregnancy unique.
Good luck with everything and God Bless
xoxo

i found out what i was having with my first and haven't and won't with my second. although, it's nice knowing when it comes to decorating and buying things, the surprise is great. my mom always said it gave her even more to look forward to in getting through the labor and delivery.
you can always decorate after the baby is born as the baby will probably be sharing a room with you for the first few months. or you can decorate with colors and things that can be for a boy or a girl.
it's entirely up to you though. i'm enjoying not knowing this time!

I don't think you should feel bad just because you want to know what you are having. At least if you find out that you're having a boy you will be able to have everything ready for him once he arrives, and if you have another girl you won't have to worry about that. I found out with both of my babies. I have a 2 year old, and I'm having a boy in 2 weeks.Good luck with finding out, and the rest of you're pregnancy.

it particularly is all approximately own decision. some women human beings particularly like to attend until eventually the baby is born for that ask your self and a few are like me and picture it particularly is wonderful understanding what you're having. It facilitates you to purchase issues, decide for a popularity and merely particularly no longer bypass insane questioning and calling the baby 'it' each and all the time. needless to say the main mandatory factor is that s/he's healthful yet that does no longer mean it won't be large to understand what you're having and it particularly is totally regular to rigidity your self nuts questioning. you're purely a million/2 way throughout the time of the being pregnant so which you're able to ask your self no rely if yet another 20 weeks of questioning is going to be very well worth the sweetness on the day. solid luck and congrats!!

I say stick with that you have been doing. the surprise has been a beautiful experience for you in the past and I think it will still be that way. The decor can change even after the baby is born. No big deal to wait. it's all in fun.

I know it is very special to find out at birth but you do not want your new son coming home to a girly room and pink clothes. I have a friend who was pregnant with her first child and because they wanted to do something special they had the envelope sealed and opened it christmas morning with there family. It made it so much more special and it made Christmas more exciting too. That way you can be prepared.

Hum, well FOUR KIDS! You must be a busy Mom, plus that is going to be a lot with braces, college, maybe glasses, cars and everything else! I would probably not be too concerned by the gender by then, but that the fourth child will be okay and that you will be able to take care of them all. FOUR WOW!
