for a tale of two cities by charles dickens...
is the FOREHEAD an important symbol or theme?

I found it used multiple times in the book but I'm not sure if it means anything...

if it is important...does it have anything to do with the theme of KNITTING/Sewing/Thread???

any help on this subject (of Foreheads) would be great!
Thanks.

Sorry- I marked yours to watch (because I love Dickens and TOTC is my favorite) but don't remember enough of the fine points to really be of help... I don't recall anything about foreheads, however. Try this site: http://www.freebooknotes.com/book.php3?id=397

OK, one more addition: If you've read the book and see foreheads a lot and think there's a connection, get your thoughts lined up and support them... just because 150 analysts think one thing, doesn't necessarily mean that you're wrong. Just make sure you can really support what you're saying. Most Lit teachers appreciate people who actually THINK! Good Luck!
