Every body get 2 points for answer, right or wrong. A large majority of the answers do come from those who don't have a clue. The favorite answers are--- It muat be the starter, It's probably the battery, it sounds like the thermostat, check your alternator.

my cat was in the blender with the 3 mouseketeers and a snickers bar and along came M&M to do a little wrap of Christmas presents then from out of the blew came a massive wind storm that huffed and puffed and blew my house over.... stupid questions deserve stupid answers.

It'd be either ignition coil, or cap and rotor, if its an older vehicle, or even the ignition module, or even a crank sensor on newer vehicle, or worse yet the computer.
