I think we should do just the opposite. We could start a nationwide boycot of all stores that don't use the word "Christmas" in their signs and flyers. Everyone has gotten away from the original true Christmas and only want to call it the "holiday season". It truly saddens me to see how so many people have twisted the celebration of the birth of Christ into something else without even a mention of Him.

Well, since it doesn't have anything to do with Jesus in the first place, the name should be changed back to Saturnalia, the pagan Roman sun God's birth day.

I think we should move it to January 21st. Then students would have a warmer summer break and a cooler fall semester.

I remember this concept! Called cutting one's nose off to spite their face. My ex-wife of 18 years, a diagnosed bipolar did it daily.
