I've been leaking a little colostrum from about 20wks. But lately for the last couple of weeks, my nipples both look huge and raised, and a lot darker. And the areola on my right breast is a lot more sore than the left one. I don't think I have any infection, no leaking or anything, it's just really tender and the areola part feels kinda harder and has a sensitive numb feeling. Is this normal??

first of all i just had a baby and yes this is normal the further a long you get the more colustrum builds for your baby witch means you will be more sensitive and may even hurt because your breast will enlarge to carry the milk and sometimes one breast will carry more milk than the other that why one is more tender than the other but once you have your baby if you brest feed you will feel better or if you don't the doc will give you a pill to dry up and yu will be fine it's just the milk your just noticing the changes in your body enbrace it and enjoy your pregnancy

yes, it is very normal. They might hurt a lot more when you start nursing. My niples even bled, and that before giving birth after I started nursing they went worse. My doctor said that your own milk heal the niples. So you squeeze them, get a little milk in a bit of cotton and rub it all around the niple and leave them uncover for a while. That really help you heal your niples
