Take yourselves out of nationalistic pride a moment, and review the facts; the U.S. dropped a second bomb on Nagasaki just to show that we had more than one over 75000 people killed.
Giving the bomb to the U.S.S.R. caused parody, the Bomb has never been used again. Think about it.

Thers no telling how long the war would have lasted If we had not used the bomb. It likely would have gone on for years, probably killing even more people. The bomb made a very strong statement. Still I understand what you mean. I suppose no one really knows for sure.

Ethel and Julius Rosenberg were executed for treasonous acts, against the USA, for passing atomic secrets to the USSR. There is nothing heroic in what they did and in my opinion the got what they deserved.
