Do you mean fuel or oil? We import a large portion of our oil, mostly from Canada, Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Venezuela (in that order). The U.S. also produces oil in the Gulf of Mexico, Texas, Alaska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, and to varying degrees from many states across the nation. The oil has to be refined into the fuels we use, namely gasoline, diesel fuel, and other fuel types. These are refined in large petrochemical refineries found usually near the sources of oil. The Texas and Louisiana gulf coasts probably have the most refineries.
The link below tells your which countries export oil to the U.S. and how much. Most people are not aware that Canada sends us more oil than Saudi Arabia. In fact, Canada likely has more oil than Saudi Arabia, but it is tied up in vast tar sands reservoirs that are more expensive to exploit than the relatively simple Saudi wells.
