The percentage of the Earth's core that is solid is 4.7 %.

The Earth's core is divided into the Inner core, which is solid, and extends for 1278 km, and the outer core, which is liquid, and extends for another 2210 km, or to a radius of 3488 km.

Using the formula for Volume of a Sphere = (4/3) * Pi * Radius ^3
you can calculate the volume of the Inner Core at 8.74 * 10^9.
The volume of ALL the core (Inner and Outer) is a total volume of 1.78*10^11.

The percentage of the Inner Core of the ALL the Core is
8.74*10^9 / 1.74 * 10^11 = 4.7 %
