If you have a MP3 plaer or thumb drive then you could do it that way.

If you have a router or a switch, you can run both computers at the same time and create a network. Then you can share your music on your old computer then from your new computer you can drag all the music files from the old comp to the new one.

Or

I think you can take out your hard drive from your old computer and place it in your new comp. Be sure to set the drive from your old one as slace then you should be able to access your music that way.

Or

If you have an iPod and have all the music on that, you can export all the music from your iPod onto your new computer. You'll need to install a small software onto your ipod which you can download for free and it's very easy to use.

There are three PRACTICAL ways:

1) Use a memory stick. All you need is for both computers to have USB ports.

2) If both are laptops you can use the Infrared devices.

3) Connecting both computers by their Ethernet cards (ports used for LAN) and transferring the files with Net Meeting. All you need is a the network cable and knowing how to use the Net Meeting utility.
(This is how I transferred my MP3's to a laptop. The transfer rate is high, which makes it faster than burning CDs).

If your computer has a cd burner..you can simply burn or copy all your songs onto cds..u will need more than jus one cd.....then when you go to transfer them over to your new comp. jus simply put the cd into the drive. then copy all the songs onto ur new comp..usually u can use windows media player..the "Rip" feature works great!!

connect the two computers to a common network and copy the files from one to the other. this can be done with a cheap hub/router and a few network cables.

or you can burn to CD and copy the files from there. might take alot of CD's though! :)

copy them to a cd in "data" format instead of "audio" format...you can save a lot more stuff per cd that way
