ok so i just moved out this sunday and have been lifting boxes all day sunday and some of monday it only hurts when i take a deep breath which i do often b/c i have asthma but could it be since im not used to lifting heavy boxes like that maybe i pulled a muscle?? its not a terrible pain but it kinda hurts its nothing to do with being pregnant cause im only 14 and this has never happened b4 and it started on tuesday a day after i stopped lifting the boxes!! so can i get some helpful advice?? thanks!

It could be muscle strain from the heavy lifting, but I'd expect you to feel it more in your back than in your side. If it is interfering with your ability to get a good breathe though, you really should go have it checked out by the doctor. Even as an asthmatic, you should not need to take deep breaths constantly to avoid feeling breathless. Like as not it is just simply a pulled or strained muscle, but you might also benefit from something to ease your need to breathe so deeply so often. It could well be related to that, and be pain from breathing with a restricted airway. So you really should go see the doctor on this one, just to be on the safe side. Asthma is not something to play around with or take chances with. Difficulty breathing is the sign something needs attention.
