Yes, people have this wierd idea that only hicks listen to country.
I am white, my husband is black, and my 3 kids are biracial.
So many people I know are stunned that I love country music.
I guess they think that because my husband is black, I can only listen to rap or hiphop. Everyone always says that I just don't look the type to listen to country.
Whatever that means!

I love country...I hate the way some people react to it, its music just like any other genre....check my 360, I met Trent Tomlinson last week woohoo!

I know the feeling. I listen to country and everyone is like, "HAHA!" Then I listen to swing like Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin and people are even more like, "HAHA!"

yes! from looking at me or hearing me talk you wouldnt think i listen to it but i love country music....you can actually understand all the words and you can relate to them in one way or another.
