I've just started stealing, not because I have to, but for some reason I get a high from doing it. It feels great. I can afford the things that I steal, but sometimes I'd just rather stick the items in my pocket and go. Although I steal, I manage to spend more than steal. It's just a fun thing to do when I'm with my friends.

I don't think they expect a person like me to steal either, that's what makes it better. You walk in a store wearing a Lacoste shirt, a pair of chinos and a pair $500 shoes, they think what I fine young gentleman.....

I've probably stolen $80 worth of merchandise this week, which isn't a lot, but it's small stuff like pens, sharpies, cheap sunglasses, keychains, a chair ( lol ), and magnets, it's really simple stuff, but it's just fun to take it. But I'll never steal clothes.

I also had a bad habit of stealing signs before I went on to stealing actual merchandise.

Excuse you.

You don't know me.

I have 3 pairs of shoes that have cost over $500. Would you like brands?

I feel braggish, but you had no right to say what you said without even knowing me.

I have never stolen anything, nor will I ever.

Reasons:
1. It is wrong.
2. The likelihood of getting caught is high.
3. If you don't get caught, something bad will happen anyway. It's karma-- for all the good you do, you get good back and for all the bad you do you get bad back-- ten times over. It may not even happen right away. It may seem that everything is good for a while... then all the bad stuff accumulates and hits you like a ton of bricks. You could get cancer, lose a loved one, be robbed, or any of a million horrible things.

Besides, I work in a store and know the facts-- for every item stolen, the store's insuriance goes up. As the insuriance goes up, so do the prices. As the prices go up, so does theft by desperate people who actually need things like food and simple clothes (you wouldn't believe how often underwear and plain white socks get stolen) and so the prices continue rising and the stores institute greater and greater measures to prevent their increasingly valuable stock from being taken. As the desperate people grow more desperate, they resort to robbery. Who do they look for as a victim? Guys wearing expensive looking shirts-- guys like you. So when you get robbed-- you'll have no one to blame but yourself, for it is your own "petty" thefts pushing up prices and forcing desperate people to resort to terrible measures. When you are staring at a guy who is pointing a gun at you, someone so nervous and desperate that he's likely to shoot you if you do what he says, remember that you made him that way.

My advice: pay back for what you took. If paying it to the store is out of the question, pay it back to needy people, those who may become desperate and do some harm to someone like you or even someone you care about.

I agree 100% with Yggdrasil Mithos Symphonia.

And if you are getting a high from stealing, switch to getting a high from something else-- ride roller coasters or something. See a psychiatrist to get off it. Anything, just quit before it gets you or someone you love.

No!

I used to hang out with the punks from my home town. What goes around comes around. You may have already been caught on video tape and don't even know it. Unless you are underage it will go on your permanent record and deny you good jobs in the future. You are also making things more expensive for everybody else. Companies pass product losses onto consumers costing the average joe 100's a year and billions nation wide.

You aren't stealing from the man, you are stealing from your own grandmother.

Again, what goes around comes around. So don't even think about bitching or calling the cops when your entertainment center is stolen from your house, cause that was God taking his dues!

I don't knowing steal and especially not to get a rush. If you're doing it for a rush not out of necessity like you live on the street and need food...seek professional help before you ruin your life by getting arrested and incarcerated.

Everyone steals but maybe not with the same intent...who hasn't taken paperclips, or a pen from the office or a store...ever made a personal call from your work phone...those are technically stealing but not with the malice of stealing and not for the rush of it.

I would NEVER steal!!!! Oh, and did you know that you were probably caught on camera and if the item is cheap, the store usually lets it slide once but they still but it on your record without you even realizing it. You WILL get caught so I advise you to stop while you still have time.
When I was in the third grade I stole some pencils from Spanish class but that is all I have ever stolen.

I don't steal and you should probably talk to a counselor to find a way to quit before your new dark hobby gets worse. You need an alternative, fast. You are what is known as a Kleptomaniac, in that you get a certain aldrenaline rush in stealing. Get help, no matter what your inner self says. Remember, if there are consequences now, deal with them now, they'll be worse the longer you wait.

$500 shoes. No offense but there is no need for you to do this to get a 'high'. I have had a less then reputable past and don't encourage the little clepto phase of your youth my friend. I have stolen in the past but that was because i couldn't afford the 500 dollar shoes in the first place, not for the fun of it.

your the reason why kids have a bad rep these days. you steal for the fun of it, you can afford what you are stealing which makes it worse than if you were stealing because you needed the things, someday Karma with catch up with you and then you will regret the choices you have chosen to make.

i hope you stop before you get caught i have a feeling its going to take more than a bunch of people online telling what an idiot you are to make you stop

good luck when God finally decides its time for you pay for you sins

I stole a bag of diapers once when I was in trouble with money and a young mom of two babies. I got caught immediately. I could have gone to jail. I did have to go to court. I needed the idapers, but stealing is wrong no matter what. If you get a high from this, you need help getting over it. If you won't stop by yourself, I hope you get caught and then get help.

You need to get HELP! I'm not saying are have a crazy person for enjoying stealing things like that. Anyone here who says that is a major stealing addict in denial. Its unateral to steal once and never feel tempted to do it again. IT DOES FEEL GOOD TO STEAL! The excitement is great! Once you do it once you just HAVE to do it again! It becomes addicting. IT FEEL SO GOOD! But sometimes, what feels good is wrong. What you have gotten yourself into, is wrong. And if you don't stop now, you never will. Steeling is like being addicted to a drug, once you try it, you need to do it again, but if you don't ever do it, you will never want to. So now you just need to find a way to get help. You have to reallise, you WILL get cought sooner or later.
