my bf's mother sent this email and i replied pretending i was him?

why?
because my bf is legally separated and we have been together for ages. the ex has been living with the white trash bf for over 2 years and my bf's mom sent an email asking for a xmas list and she said hi to my bf's daughter, to the ex and her bf and she didnt say hi to me!!! OH that ***** made me mad. Not that actually care about her because she is in MA and we are so far away from her but the fact that she doesnt take me seriously, BOTHERS me so much. so I sent her this email pretending i was my bf and I said next time she sould try to be polite because I've been with him (her son) for A LOOOOOOOOONG TIME. she thinks I was the reason her son and the ex got legally separated because I started dating him a few months after that mess and she probably thinks I'm a who*re or something.
I know it's bad to use someone elses mail but I wanted to make her understand that they'll get divorced and I'm not going anywhere.
so what you think?

oh I thought my bf was going to do something about it but then we were like: who are we kidding? she is mean to him too!!!

Well, I understand you are angry, but first of all, she didn't intend for yous to see it, and she probably didnt think anything of it when she wrote the e-mail, If u hadn't been reading your boyfriends e-mail your feelings wouldn't be hurt. You cant get mad because the mother wanted her son to say hi to her grandchild, and the woman who brought her grandchild into this world. Dont take it so personally. You seem like you are kinda of trying to put a wedge between you bf, hos mother, and his ex. U have to remember that your bf's ex will always be a part of your life if u plan on staying with him for a while. Your bf's ex is still the daughter in law, u are just the girlfriend, until he gets the final divorce papers in the mail, u may wanna stay in your place. If you make a big fuss about it, it will only cause problems that don't need to be brought up.

If so, then that is why she doesn't acknowledge you and with you in the picture she probably feels that you are taking up time that could be spent trying to repair his marriage. I think your boyfriend should be telling his own mother this and that you should not even have to defend yourself. He should be defending you, and telling his mother that she is out of line. If he doesnt do this for you, then hes not worth keeping!
