Up until about the age of nine, when I went to bed at night, I could see ever changing colours swirling round and round me for hours. Th colours had crystal shapes in them. Also sometimes I felt as if I was hovering over my bed at an angle. I was not dreaming.

Strange I know, but I just wondered.

Yes, but mine was a bit different....instead of seeing colors and such, I saw like my room get three-dimensional....and I too felt like I was hovering over myself in my own bed too.....
I am a psychic/medium...my experiences like that stopped too, around my 10 b-day....and you know what, I miss that in a way....I sometimes wonder if it was a sign that I would later find out I had the gift of being psychic and a medium......

Yeah, i had the hovering feeling, and the notion that my mind was running at twice the speed. Could be somthing to do with the hormone levels in your body at that age, or it could be down to stress, or some sort of insomnia. I don't believe its anything to do with spirits though.

Yes its called phobias its in the mind I can't remember the term for it in a phobia state it sometimes mean you have set phobias at a young age and exhibit behavioural problems, and can possibly be a young phobia when your young you tend to imagine about stuff you have set ages like going to the toilet, and timingly you can manage at a set phase and everything becomes a phase and you grow over it, I had obsessive compulsive disorder, and also weird behavioural problems when I was young .

Its just relevance to the age you are and phobias over things when you are young people still have them today...

I didnt really see loads of colours just grey and white flickers, i also had the feeling that everythink was going really fast, but just in my head, like thoughts and ... i cant explain it, was to weird to describe. But apparently everythink seems fast because theres a spirit nearby. maybe thats what the colurs were.
Dont know though, it stopped when i was 11, thank god!
I know i wasn't dreaming and im not loony so that must be the only explination!

regrettably i'm no longer very psychic (i've got confidence each and every physique is and a few extra effective than others). it particularly is like, maximum human beings can play chopsticks on the piano and a few can play Mozart. although I even have had some spooky stories, like understanding the day my ex-boyfriend died until eventually now absolutely everyone instructed me, thinking of somebody merely until eventually now they observed as on the telephone. i think of it particularly is a particular present and could be used to help others, like looking lacking human beings and fixing mysteries.

about the hovering part, do you mean the feeling that the bed is starting to tip up (in the way that the table tips up in old frankenstein movies when the doctor has finished him and he's alive)? i STILL get those feelings. im not sure about the colors.
