It depends on the state you are in.
If you are in a state with equal protection laws (the Northeast, West Coast and a scattering of other states like IL) then contact a labor attorney at once.
If you are unionized contact your union no matter what state you are in.
If she did anything to document the reason for your firing, be certain to keep a copy of it, get statements from any witnesses and have them affadavited at once -- and contact Lambda Legal Defense

Well, first contact unemployment for a hearing. Next, is it company policy to fire someone due to their sexual orientation? Now that things are fresh in your mind write down every instance where your boss treated you differently due to her personal views on gay people.
I do not know the laws where you live at, but you may consider contacting a gay rights group to check if your firing was legal. Depending on the laws where you live, you may have grounds for a lawsuit. You may also want to engage a local gay rights group to help organize a visible boycott against your former employer. If your employer was a national company, contact a national gay rights group to help publicize your firing in areas besides your own community wherever your former employer has a presence because companies hate bad publicity.
Don't be quiet, don't give up, and get even.

depends on yor state and the laws. If you're in a state that prohibits discrimination against gays, they can be fined and have to give you your job back

If you have proof that you were fired because of your orientation, and not because of any other reason, I would talk to a lawyer right away.
