Our english project states that we must "mix original writing with graphic elements to produce a professional-looking publication."
I have no idea what to do. Some examples I saw were like the national enquirer type stuff, newspapers, tributes to some person, etc.

It would be fun to write a "teenage guide to popularity", where you can have fun teaching outcast kids what it takes to be popular...but it really should be satire...like step one: become a sports star...step 2:date another sports star..etc.

Gee...nice idea for a project (need to keep that one in mind)....

The best place to start is perhaps to try and go with something you know. Is there a hobby you like? You could do a magazine on that. Perhaps a newspaper about your firends? you could put photos about them in it, some ads for things they like to do, etc. Maybe your own movie or TV show review magazine.

This seems to be a very broad assignemnt with many different avenues you could explore with it. Be creative.....
