When I was 15 i went to see a gyno. I didn't want my parents to know so I looked for one who had low cost services. I found one in a nice office, in a nice part of town. I filled out the usual forms & went in to see the doc. I had never been to a gyno so I didn't know what to expect. The doc came in with a nurse and asked me if i wanted to have her in the room during the exam. i said no; it was bad enough to have to show him my vagina, i din't want the nurse to see it too. she stepped out. When he started the pelvic exam he said he was going to massage the area to loosen it up so it wouldn't hurt when he put the speculum in. He did this for a while, I don't remember how long exactly but i remeber being in that room for a long time. I also rmember him sitting while doing it. He asked me if I ever masturbated and said it was good to do cuz it helped get them more easily. I left and never thought much about it that is till the next time i saw a gyno.

The next doctor I saw was a univerity doctor at my college. The experience was totally different, so it got me thinking. i just thought that the doctors just had different personalities & that the first doctor was dealing with a 15 year old and now i was older and less shy about stuff. But the more times i went to a gyno the more I thought that that first time was odd. Minus the waiting time an exam takes about 10 min. but i remember being in that room for over half an hour that first time. And why was he sitting? Was it appropriate for him to talk about masturbation. I'm in my late 20s now but i still always wonder.
I don't rememer the name of the doctor and the building he was at is long gone so there is no way to track him down and to check if there have been any complaints. But do I really want to know the truth anyway. What do you guys think???

Seems questionable, but doesn't sound like you were traumatized over it, so why are you worrying about it now?

Well depending how old you were at the time i think i nurse has to stay in the room if you are under 18. But my obgyn usally sits as well. I think it only takes around 5-10 mins normaly.

Hmmmmmm that sounds pretty dodgy to me...I've had pelvic exams in the past but i've never been 'massaged' there!!...It's natural to feel tense at those times, and when your tense your vagina would tighten up but the speculum isn't THAT big! ..what was his facial expression whilst doing that, did he look a perv...God, if he did that for real, he's definately in the wrong job!

you're for sure disillusioned through this and also you want to maintain in mind that a well-being practitioner can in straight forward words study you which include your consent so that you'll be able to tell them to end. i do not recognize why he tried to push his finger into your urethra if there change right into a difficulty there he must have referred you to a urologist who might want to have used a versatile digicam to envision. it isn't a convention to study you devoid of gloves both, he might want to have given you an infection. i believe sorry for you as this may were a nerve-racking journey and no i don't think of you're mad. e-mail in case you want to communicate better about it. Regards Andy

Sounds a little sketchy to me, but it's hard to say without having seen it happen myself. I urge you to talk to your parents about it and see if they want to file a complaint against the doctor.
