getting a job......?

i'm almost 14 (in like a month and like 7 days or whatever but anywho) and i think i'm ready to get a job. how old do you have to be to get a job..i've heard 16yrs old and 14yrs old. so how old do you have to be? and also what kind of jobs could a 14 year old girl get?

Apply at a company or go to a store that you'd like to work at with your resume (don't get your hopes up though) and ask to talk to the manager. They can tell you about that although I think the hiring age starts at 16.
If you really want to work or need the extra money try getting an under the table job like at a restaurant for example a lot of those places will hire under the table but remember they will treat those employees like s_hit.

Very few companies will hire anyone under 16, so you'll probably have to wait. It is legal, just hard because of laws governing hours and such I think.
