Alaska is the biggest state taht ahs the biggest coast line. It has a ton of little islands and peninsulas which make the coast have much more surface area. If you are unsure of me reliability search google with "state, longest coastline"

Ok, so I figured everyone would answer with Alaska, which is correct by the way. I was a bit surprised at some of the other answers. Keep in mind, shoreline and coastline are different. Either way, Alaska is the correct answer, as the state leads both categories. So I'll lay down the numbers...
Alaska has 33,904 miles of tidal shoreline, which is a total of 31,383 (Pacific) and 2,521 (Arctic).
Alaska has 6,640 miles of general coastline.
Florida has 8,426 miles of tidal shoreline, which is a total of 3,331 (Atlantic) and 5,095 gulf.
Florida has 1,350 miles of general coastline.
Texas (which someone mentioned as the correct answer), only has only 3,359 miles of tidal shoreline and 367 miles of general coastline.
Hawaii, only has 1,052 miles of tidal shoreline and 750 miles of general coastline.
North Dakota, (I didn't click on her link) has neither shoreline nor coastline.

Alaska. just about all of it borders water. EDIT: Oh, and that's the biggest state. yet another excuse i'm extremely beneficial that is actual. EDIT #2: And precisely how is this technology and arithmetic? that is Geography; basically realised you will positioned it in this classification.
