I don't have enough "characters" here to describe it. Suffice it to say, that this year has been remarkable. I have broken a heart, had my broken, and met a person that could be my twin. All of which happened in the latter part of the year. I'll leave it at that...amazing.

Once upon a time there was a woman and a handsome man. They became friends, and their relationship deepened. One day (as he leaned over her), her heart quickened and she realized she had unwittingly broken the First Commandment of Platonic Friendship: She'd fallen for her friend.

They spent the majority of their time together... they both found it rare to be so comfortable with another. They shared time and space, their worries, joys, heartaches, and griefs. They celebrated important moments together.

Still (as the Chapman song goes), there was a fiction in the space between them. She kept silent, her aching heart throbbing more each day. This was agony, as she is not a woman skilled at deception.

Then the man shared his heart, and his deepest conflict: he is bisexual - and in love with someone else. She thought her heart was going to split in two.

Luckily, chance smiled upon the two friends. Remarkably, their friendship has grown, and while the love is still there, it has a more appropriate expression in honesty with each other.

The woman recognized the gift she had in the man, and stopped trying to make him into what she wanted him to be.

Yes, I got a boyfriend for first time ever at the age off 22 only to discover five months later he was married. I've lost weight from the stress it caused. And I am not as happy go lucky as I used to be.

Well yeah because the divorce just became final...he and I were much more meant to be friends rather than man and wife..I miss him a lot and he is a long distance trucker now but we still stay in touch over the phone...when I do get married again I will do things a lot differently!

Well...I am recently divorced. My husband remarried the day after our divorce. I went from living in a beautiful home, to living in a one room bachelor apartment. I went from going to school full-time to not being able to go to school at all due to my work schedule. And I used to believe in fairy tales, but I have been thrust into reality by a man who took my innocence. And how has your life changed in the last six months my dear???

Oh yes, but most of the things haven't been good. In August I got into a serious car accident involving a semi, then I get really bad news, but you know about that. I am very ready for the new year.

There aren't enough "characters" on here to do so. Let's just say I've had my heart broken, broke one myself, and met a person that is a twin of mine. This has been a crazy year, and the last 6 months the craziest.

Yes! I had a hysterectomy in Feb. and it has affected every part of my life. Thankfully the changes now are positive physical ones, more energy, better sex and I am a much happier mom. It also strengthened my marriage!

Yep, first I tore ligaments in my ankle and was on crutches for 2 months. Then right after I started getting severe pains in my stomach and ended up in emergency 3 times. They were treating me for ulcers, until they figured out I needed my gallbladder removed...which I had done 2 weeks ago. Fun times.
