Question:
Did you know that Carol Vordeman is going to takeover as the main presenter on Channel 4's Countdown program towards the end of 2007? Well, it's true.

If Ladbrokes will take a hundred quid on it, I'm going to place a bet tomorrow. I got this news tonight, from a person who works on the Countdown programme.

The news is not yet common knowledge, so remember you heard it here first.

Hi B97,
You are right, Des is taking over for a bit, but Carol will be in charge by the end of 2007, take my word for it.

She has agreed but not until towards the end of next year, due to other comitment.
I can't tell you my source, as it would get him into trouble.
It's not really something worth worrying about, we will just have to wait and see, but I trust my source.

This is interesting though a little sad, Carol Voderman must be one of the best looking females on telly and if she's sat down all the time we won't get to see her curves.

Carol is the face of Letters & Numbers - she can't present the show as well. No, Des O'Conner is taking over, & someone is having you on.

i saw an interview she did where she ruled it out point blank and actually stated she would NEVER want to take over the hot-seat. this was before the appointment of des o connor.
i really think your 'source' has got it way wrong on this one i am afraid

I think you'll find that Des O'Connor is taking over so don't waste your money.
I did hear that she was asked but said no. Where's your proof?
