Tell them you cannot be spoken to during certain hours except for emergencies.
But don't get angry if they forget.

If it's at all possible, create a separate space for work time. Even if you don't have an extra room that you can use as an office, get a screen or even one of those wooden picture-frame walls that folds out, and get a small desk that locks so that you can have an "office" that signals people when you're working. Also, have a house meeting (whether it's with your family or your roommates) to remind them that you work at home and have deadlines and responsibilities that equal a paycheck, so you have to set these boundaries. Finally, if possible, create a schedule that takes advantage of the times other people you live with are gone, so you can work in peace and accomplish tasks that are harder to do with distractions around.
Good luck!!

have a separate room for your office and keep the door closed. or you could post a sign that reads "work in progress do not disturb". and call a family meeting to let them know you are serious.

Shut your door and put a sign on it along the lines of: "I'm working, Bugger off!"
If this doesn't work, you can always get a chainsaw and hack them up?

Tell them that. They should listen. I hate people that don't take others' privacy and need for peace and quiet seriously.
