Garlic is helpful, Ginger stimulates the digestive system, green leafy veggies, warm water....lots of it, a large glass every ten minutes will work wonders, and physical activity won't hurt.

flaxseed oil, castor oil, why does he have such a sensitive stomach? This may be the cause of his discomforts. He could try an emema. If its been longer than 3 days? Talk to the doc. Tell him to stay away from fatty foods such as red beef. Lots and lots of fresh fruits, and juices will help too. Be sure he is hydrated with lots of water.

The best thing, I have found, is to take a tablespoon of Metamucil every night with water, and a whole glass of water immediately after you take it. He will begin to get better the next day but has to keep on it. He can take it for years, it's just fiber and sugar. It is a great product. Hope this helps!

I had the same problem.
Eat 2 stalks of celery everyday. This should work.
Other suggestions.
1-get enough liquids
2-aim for 30 35 grams of fiber a day(men).
3-get lots of exercise so the stuff can move.
4-spinach also works(raw)
Remember if you use otc products your body might become dependant on them and you would have to keep on taking them to (go).

If the problem persists see a doc...He could have IBS....

I would give him an enema. I would use 2 cups of organic olive oil and 2 cups of organic aloe Vera juice. Have him hold it for as long as possible. And then have him expel it and if he is not unplugged do it again. He will want to remain around the house for a while it will loosen up allot of stuff and if he has gas after word it will get messy.

Give him a lot of fiber, cook with whole grains, that's what he should be eating. Stay away from all the garbage crap that is processed. He needs to be careful for how many days he goes without passing a bowel movement.

Grab some epsom salt from walgreens or kmart and mix it with water. It's not really an over the counter drug, just salt and water. It should help but if it doesn't, I would check with a doctor

Yes there is . Warm up about 6 ounces of prune juice and take that. That should help.
