My boyfriend is 34 years old and still feels the need to fight people when they start crap with either him, me or even my friends. When I would say 99.9% of these conflicts can be solved by walking away, but nope. Not when he is around. I find this very high school. He tells me that he has always been a "street tough guy" and he always will be. I cant stand this. What to do?

Funny how we are actually attracted to guys like that, me too. He's got a lot of growing up to do, but it's probably not your position to make him grow up, it will come on it's own. It's definitely a maturity thing and he is very slow at it. Use your past to help you make a decision and keep an open mind. I believe a more positive time will come for him when he gets to work with his hands, he really needs to use up all that male energy. He more than likely is good in bed and is very handsome. His hormones rule, he can't help it. But you can only face your limits and as long as he is not bullying you and doesn't show violence to women etc. If he does it in front of you, you should let him know that while he's around you he should show more control so as not to embarass you!

If you're tired of it, dump him. He's fcuking 34! He's made the decision of how he wants to live his life: starting fights. If you don't want to put up with it, leave him and his "street tough guy" attitude. If he really wants to be with you, he'll make the decision to give up that crap, or at least vent his energy and enter in the Ultimate Fighting championship. But he's too old for that crap. Tell that bum to grow the fcuk up.

Sounds like this is a deal-breaker. He should have matured past the point of always resolving towards violence. Think about this...would you ever have a child with him knowing he could potentially hit that child when it makes him angry? I think you need to leave the relationship and tell him he can call you when he promises to grow up and leave the street guy in the past where he belongs.

to wrestling superstar, i disagree. i dont care that i'm a no longer guy and that i dont recognize how they imagine, yet do no longer replace your self tremendously for anybody. you dont choose a boyfriend. you want acquaintances. dont end band. ok, i end band, yet that change into because i didnt discover it exciting. drama is better my %. and do not commit suicide. you're 13. i'm sorry you arent satisfied at abode. purely carry on. do no longer supply up. i'm sorry you're not from now on satisfied in college. the individuals who call you names dont should be round you. i guess they're jealous, or bored. ignore about them. they're all jerks. tell them firmly and confidently you dont celebrate with the call calling, or ignore about them. even better ideal, refer to a counselor. and no count number what percentage boys say seems are all that count number, do no longer pay interest to them. i'm overweight, and that i from time to time imagine there's no wish for me. yet then i see an overweight lady stroll down the hall protecting fingers which include her boyfriend. and then i see a lady with uncool clothing and glasses who isn't skinny status in a nook talking to her boyfriend. and then i imagine, "in the journey that they got here across love, so am i able to." please do no longer die. you dont recognize what number of human beings you may want to harm.

maybe you change him , maybe you don't
if he is mean and violent and picks fights, get rid of him

lol i hear ya......these guys are so lame.....i laugh my azz off......im very strong and a great athlete, so im sure i could go around kicking azz every day........but i dont.......cuz i dont have that big of an ego......
i call it "tuff guy syndrome".......the need to show everybody how strong you are........i got over this when i was like 14.........and so did most other guys.......
tell him its annoying and he should stop........or youre gonna drop his azz........
