I love the genre that HIM made up of which is Love Metal mixing romantic lyrics and metal music together.
For a real genre it would be alternative or gothic rock or just plain rock. I like some heavier stuff too along with blues and country. **** man I like it all. Although, the onlys at the moment that I hate is rap hip hop and RnB.

Because I am a pseud as well as a closet C & W fan, I will admit to liking minimalist music - some Philip Glass (not the operas), all of Wim Mertens, some Steve Reich, most of Michael Nyman's stuff. I can also recommend Jocelyn Pook

I listen to all genre,s in my collection you,ll find 3 -5 genres ranging from dance,house,indie,metal,r&b to classical . Music is universal and i pretty much think people who stick to only one genre are putting themselves short of all the amazing music out there not matter what genre..broaden your horizons and try other stuff ..you may be surprised by what you find......

There are so many words for my favourite genre: Dance, Trance, Techno, Euphoria, Electronica. OK, so each one is slightly different, but they're all different sections of kinda the same thing...
