Ernest Rutherford's Gold Foil Experiment?

When was Ernest Rutherford's Gold Foil Experiment? I have found quiet a few sites on him and the experiment, but some sites talk about him and don't mention the experiment, and others say somone else did it... It's all very confusing. So if you can find anything please also send me the link.. for now I'll keep looking. Thanks

He didn't actually do the experiment, he supervised it. It happened in 1909, and you can read all about it here:
