My laptop is a centrino duo but i have seen lap tops with intel core duo processors so how can centrion be the equavallant to the core duo on a laptop ???

God these answers are crazy, Wrong, Wrong, Wrong, Wrong! in basic words the centrino duo is basically two processors. The intel core duo is two processors in one (basically) go here for a better definition, im good with computers not words.

Intel centrion is for a laptop and core 2 duo is for a tower or desktop.

Centrino adds power and wireless management utilities for shuttle size or laptop PCs, whereas Core can usually go a bit faster.
