i want to pierce my nose and im doing some research on tips and warnings and stuf like that. if u've pierced ur nose by urself b4 plz give me some extra tips

I want to pierce my nose and i heard some ppl have done it before by themselves, and they're alive, so i think its pretty safe. and my parents wont let me get it done professionally so id have to do it by myself

DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you will get it infected and it will be very humiliating to walk around with a BIG RED BUMP on your nose. if you're not old enough to go to a professional yourself and your parents don't let you, i suggest you wait.

Rubbing alcohol will disinfect something, but it won't sterilize it. The only way to truly sterilize something is autoclaving, which is a steaming process, involving bulky machinery. Secondly, if you're truly doing research, try talking to a professional piercer at a local tattoo shop.

The best thing you can do is to go to a professional piercer. They must work in a sterile environment in order to maintain their business license. Doing it yourself can result in severe infections which if untreated can become deadly.

don't pierce your own nose! if it gets infected, that is a pretty noticable spot. you're telling us that you are going to poke a needle through that much cartilage, and still be standing to take it back out?! yeah, okay?!
if you just go to a pro, he/she will know exactly how to do it, and they will have the tools needed, plus they will be sterilized properly.

well i have a lot of peircings all of them are done professionally, exept my eyebrows. if you want 2 peirce it by yourself go ahead. but just be aware some people get infected easily. mines did a little but i kept it clean and its doing better now.

well the answer is yes you can sterilize a needle in alcohol but i don't suggest the nose piercing..you can use it ti pierce your ears mines that way..

i've never pierced myself before, but i'd boil the needle first to get off any proteins or bacteria and then i'd use rubbing alcohol to get off any extras. wait till it cools to peirce yourself
