What are some sure signs that a man is flirting. I am talking about a man in his 30's not a teenager. Some obvious and not so obvious signs???!!!! Thanks!

From a male perspective, there are a couple of things that are pretty obvious. If this is in a work setting, he will make special efforts to talk to you or spend time with you. Depending on his confidence level, he may attack the situation by being very forthcoming about his attraction (touching, compliments, etc..) or he may shy away from contact to prevent rejection. He may only provide you with an extended glance or become very nervous around you. So, how you handle him will need to be changed according to his personality.
From your question, this guy may be a shy one otherwise you would definitely know that he is flirting. So, if you are interested in this guy, may I suggest that you spend some time with him in a public setting (going out for drink with common coworkers or friends). This will allow you and him to communicate without the uncomfortable silences or forced interaction. While you are out, if you are interested, let him know my sitting close to him and touch him. Make sure you focus most of your attention on him. Look at his body language if he mirrors your movements (for example: moving in closer when you move in) then he is interested in you.

I guy and a woman both know when the other is flirting. If something is said that makes your heart stop for a moment or if eye contact is made and you feel time has frozen, if a touch intentional or otherwise is made and you know then that is flirting

i am a man and it is easy . does he smile when he talks to you and gets close while he talks. does he try to look you in the eyes when he talks and keeps looking away abruptly as if he doesn't want to seem like a vampire honing in on his prey. if so yeah he is flirting. oh and if he tells you he'd like to screww your brains out. that is apositive answer.

He looks you in the eye and engages you in coversation often without you initiating. Casual glances at you when he thinks you aren't looking. Short physical touchs like on your elbow or an arm around the shoulder really quickly. The obvious-HE calls!
