Mine was doing that. I reinstalled driver and everything. Funny thing was. It had nothing to do with that. I have a laptop i use it one. I had to get an external usb hub cause the laptop wouldnt power my ipod and recognize it. Funny thing is it worked for months on the laptop then just stoped. I got the hub, and it worked. Its odd, but I did a search for it on the internet, and its a common problem with some laptops.
