I have been having period like cramping that comes and goes for the past 6 days. Today around 5 i noticed not when i wiped but when i checked up there that i was spotting a little bit. Its not a lot either. My period isnt Due till December 2nd. i was just wondering how you would tell them apart from a period and being pregnant? since my cramping has been going for a week it was a little odd to me. the only other things i have noticed are boobs are sore and nipples tingle and sore, and im tired. cramping. and lower backache i know i have been told that period symptoms and pregnancy symptoms are alike. but how do u really tell them apart?? and has anyone ever had this and been pregnant the cramping and then spotting close to there period and end up being pregnant?

I often spot up to a week before I start my period. I get sore breasts too. You are so close to your period that I would assume that to be so. For me, each month is unpredictable. Sometimes I don't spot and start my period. Sometimes I will be a few days early, or a few days late. It's weird how that goes. If you see no change and you go one week past your period date expectancy, then take a pregnancy test. That's exactly what I'd do.

You're right. Early pregnancy signs and PMS signs are so simliar it's very difficult to decipher the difference in the beginning. The best way to tell is testing. Now, considering that it's so close to the time for your cycle, you could either wait to see if this is the beginnings of it or you could take a test. It should be accurate now.

Could be your period starting early, different factors can affect your cycle (stress, for example) so it could be something like that. The fact that it is early is kind of suspicious though, you might be pregnant, but I would wait it out to see if your body is just playing tricks on you before you test yourself. Good luck :)
