Goof Off, which can be purchased at Home Depot is great. Be careful and test to make sure it wont affect the color of the surface you are cleaning.

Wet it lightly and roll it back and forth with your finger tip. If that does not work get a bar of Lava soap, wet it good and rub it against the sticky stuff until it comes off.

GOO-GONE WORKS WELL IN THESE SITUATIONS. JUST MAKE SURE TO RINSE OR WIPE DOWN THE SURFACE ONCE YOU ARE DONE, OTHERWISE THE JEWELRY BOX WILL BE GREASY. IF YOU PREFER NOT TO SPEND MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT, LIGHTER FLUID WORKS JUST AS WELL. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THAT GOO-GONE IS A SLIGHTLY GENTLER PRODUCT WITH A PLEASANT CITRUS SCENT.

I would not use anything hard at first, it might damage the plastic. Try hot soap and water, if that don't work try rubbing alcohol. If that doesn't work then try a kitchen degreeser (like 409, mean green etc.) Hope this helps...

Hi,
Spray on good old WD40. It works very time. Give it a few seconds to soak though the remaining paper then wipe it off.
