Capaticy is 15 gallons
3/4 of the capacity is full

so 15 x (3/4) = 11.25 gallons is in the tank
it will take 15 - 11.25 = 3.75 gallons to fill up.

If it is 3/4 full, that means that there is 15 *(3/4) amount of gallons in the tank, which equals 11.25. If you need to fill it, do 15-11.25=3.75 gallons.
