Eventually your credit will be stopped on the cards and the amount will be seen as a charge off for the company. Then a law office or other credit collecting agency will hound you for the money. It takes many years before they can do anything legally like suing you for it, but I will tell you that this will demolish your credit score for life, which is a horrible thing to have happen. What I would recommend is that you talk to the various credit agencies that you have cards with now and see if you can work out some sort of payment plan with.

Yes, even thought they can't attach your disability, they can ruin your credit rating which in turn can effect your ability to get future credit, open a bank account or even rent an apartment. They can also attach any money you may have in savings or get in the future, like inheritance or a lottery win. Contact a non-profit credit counselling center for more information on the laws in your area.

logically no one can harm you.if they do so, you can go to court against them & charge them for humiliation.

They can block your account ,ask some collecting agency to collect money from you.

lastly they can move to court where the decision will be based on your paying capacity.

Your clue should be like that.

Cradit card company has made credit card seeing your paying capacity .If you are not now capable of paying ,what is your fault.Means thier assesment about you was wrong. this will force them to take soft decision for you.

However you will be blacklisted & will have problem in further loan throughout the life ,which is bad thing.

What to do then---

Ask some agency who can loan you on less intrest & easy installment & pay it.you have to trevel along distance in life.

I think they can take you to court and get a judgment against you. But if you have no money, it won't do them much good, unless the judge orders you to pay a nominal amount from your monthly check. Garnishment is a possibility.

Call your Legal Aid Society.
