Do you mean 'goodfellas', personally I thought it was a great steaming bag of s*** despite a fantastic cast. I blame the poor direction from Scorcese. Why he thinks the academy will ever honour his work is beyond me. Sorry to barge into your male dominated mafia world, but I really felt it had to be said. I think the glorification of this 'scene' leads to a lot of unnecessary violence and destruction of young lives and although it was good that Henry Hill got his comeuppance in the end, it still spawned other mafia related media such as the Sopranos and that only perpetuates the 'cool' factor to young impressionable guys.

Good flla's is an outstanding film. A firm favourite of mine. But, no, I don't want to be a gangster. The life is all on borrowed time.
You either die by the bullet or are jailed for a very long time... You never know when it's gonna come...and come it will.
...Or you live with guilt of how many lives you have destroyed.

I'm not a guy, but I always feel like that when I watch a good gangster film. Didn't think much of Goodfellas though.

I think everybody kindda likes the life they think those guys live. "knockaround Guys" is a good one too.

im a girl, but i would be tony soprano, hes pretty cool! (maybe not a s big though), he seems to struggle with breathing sometimes!
